We get asked this a lot 😫! Love Languages is not the same, although it is a good tool. Life Languages™ is all about communication 'styles'. It is a tool that simply helps us to understand, motivate and lead ourselves and others.

The Life Languages™ Profile is a diagnostic tool produced by completing a comprehensive survey that indicates, among other metrics, your language preferences. It is a highly accurate tool and you will receive a 20+ page report based on your results. That profile forms the basis of the Life Languages™ Communication IQ System. The purchase price of this course includes 2 Personal Profiles. Links and instructions on how to take the profile will be sent by email. Should you so desire, you can upgrade your profile at an additional cost but the Personal Profile is sufficient for the purposes of this course.

This course is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of each of the 7 Life Languages™. Having that understanding will enable you to recognise how and why you process all incoming and outgoing communication the way each of you do. Set out in short lessons, the course takes you through the specific keys to success for each language and also takes a look at the negative, distressed behaviour specific to each language. As you work through this course together, you will have many 'light bulb moments', leading to deeper understanding and connection.

The course is completely self paced, meaning you can do it over an evening or a month or longer. Once enrolled, you will have unlimited access to the course and will be able to repeat lessons as well, should you need to.

There are no specific course notes. We didn't want to make it too easy for you! There is value in taking notes yourself and we have provided a comprehensive workbook with this in mind.

That's a great question and without a good answer, why spend your money! There are many benefits, including: 1. Greater self awareness - understand why you think, feel and act the way you do. 2. Deeper connections with your significant other and those around you. Understanding the different communication styles will help you connect in a completely new way. You will learn to adapt your communication to the 'language' you are hearing, which produces greater connection. 3. Resolve conflict. When you know the language a person is 'speaking', you will know the specific 'keys to success' for that language and when applied, will bring resolution to conflict. You will know how to communicate in a way that makes the other person feel seen, heard and understood. 4. Help navigate distress. When we experience negative behaviour, instead of it being something that pushes us away, we now see it as a way to help, intervening to bring that person back out into positive territory. Most couples avoid conflict OR conflict becomes a battle ground where one is the winner and the other the loser. It doesn't have to be that way. Understanding conflict within the context of Life Languages™ and applying the principles provides the possibility of a win/win outcome. Most people wait until their relationship is almost over before looking for help. This course has saved marriages and the cost of the course is minimal compared to the cost of a broken relationship. And even if your relationship is good, there is always room for improvement, leading to greater fulfilment.

It is possible for only one of you to do the course but its impact will be limited. As the saying goes 'it takes 2 to tango!' Additionally, there are some exercises and discussion topics included that require mutual participation. In conclusion, we strongly encourage couples to got through the course together and engage with the process of transformation.
